I found this series of photos about the geometry of everyday life, on CNN’s website and it reminded me that there often is a certain geometry in human, as well as natural, environments.
Some of this geometry is clearly very carefully planned, such as the tables and stools bolted into and chessboard-tiles floor. No human intervention allowed. Any aberration to this schema is left to waste on the periphery.
Of course, it could also be shown that there is also a large element of chaos and asymmetry in both nature and urbanity. Or even chaos within the geometry.
