Saw these abandoned basket chairs the other day.<\/p>\n

It was fun watching them over a period of weeks, because every time I went past them they were in a slightly different position. It was as if they were moving themseves, snail-like, imperceptibly slowly. Sometimes they were a few feet away from each other, on other days they were closer \u2013 or touching. I like this image. It’s as if they are in deep conversation. Perhaps even embracing.<\/p>\n
Having visualised this film-like narrative, I decided to give the post-production a high contrast, noir effect.<\/p>\n
I suppose that the council came and took them away eventually. I kind of miss them now that they’re gone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
